This is the original! I am the person who actually drew this design!
The tardigrade is a microscopic animal with eight legs that can withstand temperatures from just above absolute zero to well above the boiling point of water, the vacuum of space to pressures six times that of the bottom of the ocean. They can go without food or water for more than ten years and then revive and go about their business.
I think they’re pretty great, so I made this original illustration and put it on a t-shirt in two colors.
